What is the life cycle of a work of art? In this tour, we transform the exhibition Art and Fashion into a laboratory.

We investigate the materials that make up these objects – woods, fibres, and minerals – and the environmental impact of their extraction, transport, and transformation over the centuries.

By placing French furniture and Chinese porcelain in dialogue with contemporary fashion, we question the logic of mass production: how did we move from the unique object and haute couture to disposability? A journey between past and future, where art history becomes a tool for shaping new forms of conscious consumption.
