When two pianists of unquestionable stature, such as Evgeny Kissin and András Schiff, decide to join forces in a single recital, the result is inevitably an occasion of exceptional musical significance. After being unable to make their debut at the 2022 Salzburg Festival due to an injury suffered by Kissin, the two now appear together in a programme for piano four hands and two pianos, performing works by Mozart, Schumann, Smetana and Dvořák. An evening in which virtuosity and sensitivity meet in their fullest expression.
