The wealth of Armenian musical culture reflects in the wide variety of traditional musical instruments with the duduk both one of the oldest and among the best known examples. This wind instrument has gained Unesco recognition as world historical and cultural heritage and truly represents the soul of the Armenian people with its incomparable sonority now known worldwide. This concert includes works for the duduk solo and the duduk with piano, with highlights drawn from religious, medieval and traditional Armenian music.
