Multi-instrumentalist Dieg makes his debut at this edition of the Summer Garden, honouring his Cape Verdean roots in an intimate and innovative show.

Dieg, the stage name of Diego Gomes, personifies the cultural evolution of Cape Verde. As a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, he brings the experience of international tours to his solo career, looking to honour and revitalise Cape Verdean music.

Music serves as a window to his creative soul, providing an intimate journey through his process of creation and his evolution as a human being. Through innovative visuals and an immersive sound, Dieg aims to connect his cultural roots with the new generations, making sure that Cape Verdean history and identity are understood, respected and exalted.
