A guided tour with curators Ana Maria Campino and André Afonso that will dwell on works of art in light of this compromise between luxury and industry.

The Art Deco movement, which marked the 1920s and 1930s, knew how to take advantage of mass production, of the emergence of new materials, and of the technological advances of industrialization. Even so, Art Deco is still associated with highly refined works of art, characterized by their exceptional quality and unique nature.

On this tour to the Gulbenkian Collection: Great Works exhibition, we will discover some of Mr. Calouste Gulbenkian’s personal objects, created by renowned jewellers, such as Cartier and Boucheron, and déco books filled with illustrations and original elements.
