Book launch 'dança não dança'

Event Slider

Ana Bigotte Vieira, Ana Dinger, Carlos Manuel Oliveira and João dos Santos Martins present dança não dança – arqueologias da nova dança em Portugal, a book that accompanies and amplifies the research carried out for the exhibition.

The book covers the history of dance in the 20th and 21st centuries through two distinct paths: an atlas of images, in which hundreds of documents from public and private archives are reproduced, and a set of essays and conversations, which includes republications, but also unpublished texts.

The curators Ana Bigotte Vieira, Ana Dinger, Carlos Manuel Oliveira and João dos Santos Martins will reflect on the research process that led to the exhibition and the book, in a conversation moderated by Maria de Assis.
