Official side event of the UN Ocean Conference, taking place in the Blue Zone, inside the Conference venue.
This session aims at reflecting and fostering transatlantic cooperation for the blue economy and building an innovation ecosystem for the blue bioeconomy to promote decarbonization and sustainable growth.
Confirmed speakers include José Maria Costa, Portuguese Secretary of State for Maritime Affairs, and Vincent Doumeizel, Senior Adviser at United Nations Global Compact on Oceans.
This event is co-organized by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, the Portuguese Association for Business Ethics, the Portuguese Institute for the Sea and Atmosphere – IPMA and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.
