Berlok returns to the Summer Garden with a concert that combines traditional Cape Verdean music with new rhythms, promising a vibrant Sunday evening.
A Cape Verdean DJ and music producer living in Portugal, Berlok has performed at several venues and festivals from the north to the south of the country. Throughout his career, he has worked with some of the biggest names in Cape Verdean music, never forgetting his origins and the sounds from his childhood.
At the beginning of 2020, he began working exclusively on the fusion between rap, trap, drill, r&b and afrobeat and traditional Cape Verdean music, which earned him a participation in Dino D’Santiago’s track Pé Ratxado as a producer. He released his first album, TERRA TERRA, in May 2023 and continues to entertain audiences with his versatile and eclectic performances, which cross musical styles and cultures.
