In this exhibition, the museum becomes not only a place of display, but the very subject and material of artistic creation.

In Belas Artes, Bruno Zhu offers a critical reflection on the museum as a site of power, authorship, and the production of artistic value. Drawing on a conceptual approach informed by fashion design, publishing, and scenography, the artist interrogates practices of collecting and modes of exhibition-making.

The installation unfolds across four interconnected spaces, three of which present works from the CAM Collection, reorganised according to a rigorous set of instructions that defines colours, display methods, and orientation.

The Cartão Gulbenkian Mais holders will be guided through an immersive experience that questions hierarchies of taste and the mechanisms shaping the museological experience.

Cartão Gulbenkian Mais activities have a limited capacity. If you can’t attend, please cancel your ticket. Enter your MyGulbenkian account, open the “Tickets” section, and click “Cancel”.
