Publication summarising the framework and implementation experience of the Contratempo project, developed in the second edition of PARTIS (2016-2018).

Contratempo is a project of the association Nova Aurora that brought together a “tuna” (university choir) of health technology students and the association’s users, mostly people with schizophrenia, from the Porto area. The beneficiaries were taught how to play instruments and sing, and the resulting music group became a pioneer in Portugal.

This publication describes the project’s approach to tackling the stigma of mental illness.
