The executive summary of the Ageing in Place study aims to systematise the means of ageing at home and in the community and to show models and strategies implemented in Portugal and in other countries, according with the principles of this paradigm.

Concerned with the well-being and quality of life of elderly people, especially those who live more isolated, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation supports a group of entities with experience in the development of projects focused on combating the isolation of older people.
