The Tum Tum Tum project uses music as a tool for empowerment. It arose from the need to find answers to the problem of youth unemployment in the municipalities of Gondomar, Porto and Matosinhos. It involved unemployed adults, people with disabilities and young people and children at risk, and was anchored in Xilobaldes, a percussion band whose instruments are made from recyclable materials.
