Ressoa

Ressoa’s artistic proposal will culminate in an itinerant concert departing by train from Santa Apolónia (Lisbon) and arriving in Fundão three days later, with a total of six performances at railway stations and cultural venues along the way, with a cast made up of migrant artists and inhabitants of each of the stops.

The end of the journey will culminate in a concert at the Octógono, a cultural performance space in Fundão. The contents of this show will be the result of experiences throughout the year, the narratives and music composed in co-creation between all project participants. Each participant in the core group will also create their own artistic laboratory for transmitting and transforming musical and oral knowledge, a legacy they can employ later in their professional lives.

Project supported under the 3rd edition of the PARTIS & Art for Change initiative, promoted by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the ‘la Caixa’ Foundation.
