LaB InDança is an inclusive dance project designed mainly for socially vulnerable people with or without a disability – cognitive, motor, visual or hearing impairment –, aged 16 years or older who live in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira. It uses dance labs to break down social barriers of ableism through experimentation and learning, reflection, awareness raising and knowledge production.

Over the course of three years, weekly classes and an artistic residence will be the primary instruments in the work carried out together with the community. Several performances will be produced in artistic residencies and presented to the public, including a show with a small cast that will tour the country with a view to professionalising inclusive dance.
