Futuros Partilhados

Collaborative narratives to reimagine multi-species coexistence

The project explores storytelling as a creative tool for understanding and reorganizing the world, drawing on the rich oral tradition of northeast Trás-os-Montes, where wild animals are the protagonists.

The artistic proposal aims to create new forms of storytelling, integrating art, science and local knowledge to establish non-hierarchical relationships between humans and other species.
Instead of communicating in a unidirectional and institutional way, the project uses a collaborative methodology in the artistic elaboration of publications, web platform and theatrical creation, to promote a critical and reflective dialog. Artistic practices will be used to emotionally connect participants and audiences with nature, offering creative solutions for the preservation of biodiversity.

Project supported under the 3rd edition of the PARTIS & Art for Change initiative, promoted by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the ‘la Caixa’ Foundation.
