Diários de um Interior is a participatory art project focusing on the social inclusion of people and communities living in inland Portugal whose identity, history and culture are at risk, and on the development of artistic, cultural and educational skills that includes reflecting on the processes of individual empowerment and social cohesion.

From an artistic point of view, it is a photography project that engages the local population in capturing visual narratives based on their memories and everyday lives. Educational programmes and materials adapted to the specific characteristics of the participating community will then be implemented to build personal, social and cognitive skills developed in the artistic dimension of the project.
