Director of the Auditing and Risk Management Department since October 2021.

He joined the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in 2019, to support the creation of this new department.

Having graduated in Economics from the University of Algarve, he is completing his master studies in Public and Business Auditing, in Coimbra Business School.

Professionally, he acted in several areas: finance, accounting, fiscal policy, management control, internal auditing and risk management. In national and transnational environments and in different sectors, such as retail, industry, or the 3rd sector.

Throughout the different roles assumed, he had the opportunity to consolidate and restructure financial and control departments, as well as to support the implementation of internal auditing and risk management functions (areas).
