This initiative aims to strengthen the skills of researchers and health professionals by offering short courses focused on cross-cutting competencies in health research, as well as supporting postgraduate and advanced training in the field of health sciences.

Introduction to Clinical Evaluation Studies

The course Introduction to Clinical Evaluation Studies – Africa aims to equip students with basic knowledge in research methodology, biostatistics, scientific writing, and publishing. By strengthening research skills and fostering integration into research teams, it contributes to the production of high-quality clinical research.

Online Short Courses

The online short courses are designed to build skills in scientific writing, statistics, project management, meta-analysis, proposal writing, data analysis using Business Intelligence, and leadership in science.

Any researcher or health professional working in the health sciences in the PALOP countries may apply. Places are limited and candidates are selected to ensure the course content matches their profile.

Since 2020, these courses have reached over 300 researchers. The repeated editions of certain courses reflect the growing demand and sustained interest.
