Gil Mendo Mobility Grant

The Roberto Cimetta Fund, in partnership with DGArtes and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, launches the Gil Mendo Mobility Grant to honour Gil Mendo’s legacy. The deadline for submission of applications is 14 October 2024, at 23:59.

This grant – ranging from 500€ to 1500€ – aims to support the mobility of artists and other cultural professionals, focusing on dance as the main artistic discipline and/or departing point, yet also including any potential transdisciplinary crossover approaches. 

Candidates are cultural individual professionals (not organisations), such as artists, managers, producers, researchers, journalists, programmers, curators, irrespective of age, proposing individual mobility projects (not collective nor group mobility).

Applications (in Portuguese or in English) may be submitted online, until 14 October, at 23:59 GMT+1/Portugal time. We invite all curious and interested individuals to join us for an informative webinar on 19 September 2024, at 15:30 GMT+1/ Portugal time. This webinar will provide an opportunity to learn more about the criteria and raise any questions you may have and to get advice on how to find partners in Portugal, the Western Balkans, North Africa and the Middle East.
