Colóquio/Letras offers more open access editions
There are about thirty issues of Colóquio/Letras that can now be consulted online and freely downloaded by readers.
This collection of volumes, which were published until 2015, includes, for instance, the magazine’s issue no. 175, launched in September 2010, in which Eduardo Lourenço pays homage to José Saramago in a text entitled “José Saramago (1922-2010): singular iconoclasm”.
The volumes now available online comprise nos. 159/160 up to no. 190.
Colóquio/Letras is devoted to publishing essays and integrates a plurality of points of view and critical approaches to recently published books, but also includes unpublished poetry and contemporary fiction by both young and renowned authors. The magazine focuses on literature written in Portuguese and has a wide range of collaborators, both Portuguese and foreign.
The latest issue of the magazine, No. 208, referring to September/December 2021, is dedicated to the writer Mário Cláudio.
Colóquio/Letras is published by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and directed by Nuno Júdice, under the editorial responsibility of the Gulbenkian Culture Programme.
