Fostering joint NGO endeavours has been a key concern to be addressed by the Cidadania Ativa Programme, from the early stage of its conception. It is considered that the development of ties and partnerships between Portuguese civil society organizations constitutes a key element to enhance the effectiveness of the intervention of the many organizations which, with their work on a broad range of issues, strive to improve life in our society.

The Cidadania Ativa Programme invites all NGOs operating in Portugal to be part of a database with names, contact details and areas of intervention, through voluntary registration. More information here.
