The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation is a Portuguese institution of general public interest, governed by private law, which carries out its activities from its head office in Lisbon and from its branches in Paris and London, with the main purpose of promoting improvements in the quality of life of people and organizations through art, science, education, and charity, thus contributing to a more equal and sustainable society.

We are looking for an intern (M/F) for the Patronage and Marketing Division, who, in a work context, can acquire, train, and deepen the knowledge and skills – complementary to his/her academic training – deemed as critical for carrying out his/her future occupation.

Internship Conditions

  • 12 months duration;
  • Extracurricular professional internship contract;
  • Initial and ongoing training;
  • Internship allowance + Meal allowance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide support in identifying companies for potential patronage projects;
  • Collaborate in the preparation of sponsorship proposals, in conjunction with various other departments;
  • Support the process of formalizing patronage protocols, in conjunction with the Legal Department;
  • Carry out periodical benchmarks, with a view to ensuring alignment with the best international practices;
  • Prepare regular monitoring reports on current protocols and KPIs in the Patronage area;
  • Collaborate on cross-cutting projects in the Marketing area.

Skills Profile

  • Master’s in Business Management / Marketing, or similar fields;
  • Eligible for Professional Internship level 7 (mandatory);
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and good interpersonal relationship skills;
  • Ability to work in project management and planning;
  • Strong analytical ability;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken Portuguese language;
  • Good command of written and spoken English language;
  • Good command of Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
