The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation is a Portuguese institution of general public interest, governed by private law, which carries out its activities from its head office in Lisbon and from its branches in Paris and London, with the main purpose of promoting improvements in the quality of life of people and organizations through art, science, education, and charity, thus contributing to a more equal and sustainable society.

We are seeking an intern for the Digital Mediation team of the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum, who, in a work context, can acquire, train, and deepen the knowledge and skills – complementary to his/her academic training – deemed as critical for carrying out his/her future occupation.

Internship conditions

• Duration: 12 months;
• Extracurricular professional internship contract:
• Initial and continuous training provided:
• Monthly internship allowance plus meal allowance.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide support in writing content for the Museum’s digital communication platforms, such as posts, as well as exhibition and event synopses;
• Monitoring and analysis of platform performance;
• Support the organization and planning of resources and equipment related to the production of digital content;
• Monitor the various stages of production and implementation of Digital Mediation projects.

Skills Profile

• Graduate Degree in Social Communication, Multimedia or similar areas;
• Eligible for Professional Internship level 6 (mandatory);
• Fluent in English and Portuguese (spoken and written);
• Good grasp of Word Press, and of image, video and sound editing tools, namely Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe Audition (preferred).
