This grant call aims to support the implementation of clinical research projects that contribute to improving the quality, effectiveness, and equity of healthcare delivery.

Application Phases
The grant call is divided into two phases. All proposals must be submitted in English.
In the first phase, a short-term grant of up to two months will be awarded to researchers whose initial project proposals are selected. In the second phase, funding will be granted for full project implementation.
Projects selected for the second phase must have a maximum duration of three years and must begin within three months of the announcement of results.
Eligibility
Researchers based at research centres or academic departments of higher education institutions conducting research in Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, or São Tomé and Príncipe are eligible to apply.
Applicants must be nationals of one of these countries and must either hold a PhD in health sciences obtained more than five years ago, or—if the PhD was awarded exactly five years ago—have more than ten years of proven research experience.
