The scholarships will support research carried out in Portugal, in the fields of literature, history and art history, with the aim of publishing a scientific paper, a publication or part of a publication, an academic thesis or part of an academic thesis.

Eligibility Conditions

The call is aimed at non-Portuguese doctoral students and senior researchers who reside abroad and wish to conduct research in Portugal.

The scholarship

The scholarship includes:

a) A monthly allowance in accordance with the following:

• Doctoral student: 1,250€
• Senior researcher: 2,000€

b) A one-time payment of 1,000€ for travel and installation expenses.

c) Personal accident insurance during travel.

The scholarships will be awarded for a minimum period of 2 months and up to a maximum period of ten months, non-renewable, to be used in the academic year 2024/2025.
