Discover the plants that thrive in the Gulbenkian Garden and the stories they hold.

On this tour, Cartão Gulbenkian Mais holders are invited to explore some edible and medicinal wild plants in the garden, learning about their characteristics, uses, and importance to biodiversity.

Far beyond their ecological value, these species have been part of the relationship between people and nature for centuries, being used in food, traditional medicine, and various everyday activities. An opportunity to learn how to recognize them, understand their role in ecosystems, and discover new ways to appreciate them.

The tour takes place outdoors, whatever the weather, so we recommend wearing suitable clothing and footwear.

Cartão Gulbenkian Mais activities have a limited capacity. If you can’t attend, please cancel your ticket. Enter your MyGulbenkian account, open the “Tickets” section, and click “Cancel”.
