Is it possible to travel the world within a collection? To journey through different continents in the space of a museum? To meet distant people and experience diverse cultures?

Amulets from Egypt, carpets from Persia, lacquer boxes from Japan, Chinese dragons, furniture from French palaces… there are many origins of the objects in Calouste Gulbenkian’s collection.

This tour is also like this, a journey from East to West, from Antiquity to the 20th century, between places and between times, on a journey through different cultures.
