For the inauguration of its new building, CAM invited artist Leonor Antunes to present a new project that occupies the whole of its main gallery.

Leonor Antunes has centred her artistic practice around sculpture, architecture, design and material culture, among other fields. The exhibition takes as its starting point an investigation into the works and journeys of women artists, key figures in the modernist movement who have been rendered invisible by a history marked by inequality.

This tour will explore the multiple dimensions of the artist’s new project, which includes a ‘floor’ sculpture and a series of other sculptures that spread out in space, creating a multi-sensory and organic experience that transforms the gallery’s architectural space.
