This tour explores the Gulbenkian Garden and its design, highlighting the symbiotic relationship between the Garden and the Foundation’s buildings, and revealing how this masterpiece of 20th-century landscape architecture came into being.

We also discover the new garden area to the south of CAM, designed by landscape architect Vladimir Djurovic as a natural extension of the original garden – a space for wildlife and for reconnecting with nature.

“In designing this garden, we sought to let the form of the woods and clearings, the presence of water, the contrasts of light and shadow respond to the call of a Mediterranean culture and to the essence of our landscapes.”
— Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles

In the event of adverse weather conditions, the activity will take place indoors. Confirmation will be given up to two days before the scheduled date.
