Today we will talk about why seeds matter, about their diversity and origins, about the care needed in handling them and about how to harvest and store them.

Seeds make plants! They are precious things! What happens when we leave seeds in water for a few days? What can we do with a handful of seeds from the plants of our own landscapes, a little compost and some clay soil?

Seeds are little bombs of life! Not only are they super-nutritious foods when sprouted, they can also turn an empty patch of ground into a corner of nature full of plants and colour, where many animals will make their home. Shall we give it a try?
