What’s in your bag?

Visual and sound installation composed of 12 items of luggage, developed as part of Q-Circo (Q-Circus), a project involving around 40 young people from the Santo António Education Centre (Porto) and the Areosa Rehabilitation Centre (Gondomar) in workshops for artistic creation and the development of personal and social skills. As a complement to the installation, a documentary video reveals how the circus arts workshops and artistic projects were carried out by the two groups.

Q-Circo is promoted by Companhia Erva Daninha and funded by PARTIS & Art for Change.

Q-Circo aims to contribute to the empowerment and employability of young people in NEET situations (not in employment, education or training), using the circus arts as a tool to promote personal and social development. The young participants join a project of artistic creation and personal evolution that includes a range of activities including circus arts workshops and sessions for developing personal, social and employability skills.
