This book, co-published by GHOST, Pierrot le Fou and STET, presents the results of an unprecedented investigation into the recent history of the Portuguese photography book, as a resource for artistic and documentary creation and a point of convergence for collaboration between photographers, designers, writers and publishers.

This research was supported by IHA/NOVA, in the context of the project “Images and Books. A study of the photographic in Portugal (1974 to the present)”. The Art Library hosted the research between September 2021 and March 2022.
