In this anthotype workshop, we will experiment with printing photographs of plants using materials that we can find at home

When photography was invented, back in the 19th century, the sensitivity to light of numerous substances was explored, including of plant leaves, flowers and roots.

Inspired by the biodiversity of the Gulbenkian Garden, we will experiment with printing photographs of plants using materials that we can find at home, using the most sustainable and organic of all photographic printing techniques, namely anthotype, and create a mini photo herbarium.
