Location
Open-Air Amphitheatre Gulbenkian GardenA group of young Ukrainian musicians have been living as refugees in Lisbon since 2022. In the city, music is their profession, but also an anchor that links them to the country they fled in order to escape the war.
At Largo Residências, where some of the band has joined the project Residências Refúgios – Residências Sociais e Artísticas para profissionais da cultura refugiados (Refugee Residencies – Social and Artistic Residencies for refugee cultural professionals), they find a space to preserve and share their knowledge of traditional Ukrainian music, but also to be challenged with new adventures.
This Mais uma volta… Mais uma viagem (One more time… One more journey) will revisit the music of Ukrainian fables, in a meeting of the animals that inhabit children’s imaginations all around the world.

The project Residências Refúgio (Refugee Residencies), supported by PARTIS & Art for Change, aims to strengthen the notion of social inclusion in art, through artistic practices with a programme of annual social residencies, linked to a pilot programme of artistic residencies, to improve monitoring of the inclusion process for people in refugee situations. The programme combines training with the creation and presentation of artistic activities, in which migrants or people in refugee situations are the key agents in the process.
