SYNOPSIS

The portrait of a father through his daughter’s eyes. A photo album of a journey around the world in the 1970s starting in Japan. Father and daughter exchange views about the memories of the old images and words, sharing the desire to bring them to the present day.

Aya Koretzky (1983, Japan) is based in Lisbon, Portugal. She has a degree in Fine Art and a masters degree in Film from Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris) taken on a scholarship from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. She has worked on several fiction films and documentaries as co-director, cinematographer and editor. The documentary Around the World When You Were My Age (2018) is her  second feature documentary as a director.
