With the participation of Francesco Dal Co, Annabel Selldorf, Eduardo Souto de Moura and Martin Corullon, as well as the architects responsible for the refurbishment of the Gulbenkian Museum, Teresa Nunes da Ponte and Frédéric Ladonne, this gathering aims to celebrate contemporary museum institutions, debating the challenges—architectural, social, artistic—that they face today.
At a time when tourism is exerting pressure on museums, visitor numbers are rising and societies are placing expectations on the widely accepted yet evolving role of today’s museums, we hope to contribute to the ongoing debates.
The programme will be anounced shortly.
