Bioblitz, also known as the Biodiversity Marathon, is an activity that aims to identify the greatest number of living beings possible, in a certain area, over a certain period of time.

As an important place of passage and home to many species, the Gulbenkian Park, in the heart of the city of Lisbon, is an important space for monitoring the evolution of urban biodiversity.

In this activity, all participants will be involved in actively monitoring species, contributing to a global database.

On the day, we invite you to join experts from Biodiversity4all.org to identify lichens, amphibians, reptiles and insects in the Gulbenkian Garden. You don’t have to be an expert or have any training in the area, just come along and join in!
