This exhibition brings together photographs, press cuttings and correspondence from the Helena Almeida Archive, donated to the Art Library, and shows them alongside works by the artist from the CAM Collection.
Photographs of works and exhibitions, press cuttings and critical reviews published between 1967 and 2018, and correspondence with institutions and gallerists are among the documents that make up the archive of Helena Almeida (1934–2018), donated to Gulbenkian and now part of the Art Library’s holdings.
To mark the donation, the Art Library presents a selection of these documents alongside works by the artist from the CAM Collection.
