Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation
During this visit, you will have the opportunity to tour areas not typically open to the public, accompanied by the architect responsible for the building's maintenance.

The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Headquarters, set in an eight-hectare garden, of which the buildings occupy approximately one-third, was recognised (together with the Museum and Garden) as a National Monument in 2010.

Ruy Jervis d’Athouguia, Pedro Cid, and Alberto Pessoa were commissioned to design the Gulbenkian Foundation and Museum after winning the competition in 1959. The invitation-only competition included three teams of three architects. Construction began in 1962, and the Foundation was inaugurated in 1969.

On this exclusive visit for Cartão Gulbenkian Mais holders, you will have the opportunity to take a closer look at the Headquarters Building, including areas not normally open to the public, accompanied by the architect responsible for the building’s maintenance.

The Cartão Gulbenkian Mais programme has a limited capacity. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket. Enter your MyGulbenkian account, open the “Tickets” section, and click “Cancel”.
