Kabeção (Carlos Rodrigues), a Portuguese musician and master of the Hang, invites the audience to a performance that explores the mystical sounds of this Swiss instrument with a handcrafted soul.

Inspired by the Caribbean steel pan and the Indonesian gamelan, the hang — with its distinctive “UFO-like” shape and its two sides, Ding and Gu — creates musical scales that travel between East and West.

A self-taught multi-percussionist, Kabeção blends the delicacy of the handpan with rhythmic influences from Africa, India, and Brazil, crafting unique sonic landscapes.

In this edition of Earth Day, beneath the pine trees, the artist presents pieces from his solo journey, including the album Cosmic Seed, offering a contemporary and cross-cultural fusion experience that promises to awaken the senses.
