Brahms’ Symphony No. 3
Event Slider
From the first musical chord, the opening of the Don Giovanni opera heralds the tragic end of the protagonist. A Seventeenth-century masterpiece resulting from the fruitful collaboration between composer W. A. Mozart and librettist Lorenzo Da Ponte, Don Giovanni mixes various genres, including comedy, farce and tragedy. In turn, humour, harmony and classic elegance characterize J. Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto. Finally, Brahms Symphony No. 3 takes us into the post-Beethoven era, having been described by Maestro Hans Richter as Brahms’ “Heroic” piece.
