Wild plants are those that arise spontaneously in each region where they evolved and constitute the ecological basis of all life, including animals and people.
They play a critical role in the regeneration of natural life and in balancing all ecosystems, both within cities and in agricultural ecosystems, and are also of significant social and economic relevance due to their various uses, namely for the manufacture of medicines, dyes, fibres, among others, and also for their value in human diet.
Accompanied by Fernanda Botelho, author of books on edible and medicinal wild plants, we will learn about some of these plants and their value, so that we can learn how to best appreciate and use them!
The visit takes place in the garden, regardless of weather conditions, so participants should wear appropriate clothing and footwear. The activity will only be canceled in the event of extreme weather conditions.
