The works of Canaletto and Guardi on display in the exhibition ‘Splendour in Venice. From Canaletto to Guardi’ give us the theme for this drawing workshop. In it, we will learn about the drawing techniques these artists used as the basis of their paintings. Once we have a grasp of these records on paper, we will draw the architectural space of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, under the influence of these two Italian masters.

Standalone sessions, with no continuity from one to the next. Participants should bring their own drawing materials. Suggested materials: Sketchpad with sewn pages, minimum 120 gr, graphite pencil, metal nib with non-faceted tip, sepia or orange ink, set of watercolours, round paintbrush, container for water and absorbent paper.
