Diving into Murky Waters with the artist and the curators

Working from a vocabulary at once poetic and political, the artist proposes a subterranean journey through systems—of the body and of human infrastructure—in which water, bodily fluids and clay become the guiding threads of that transformation.

This ‘becoming liquid’ is the conceptual and formal axis of the exhibition. In their refusal to be fixed, classified or contained, liquids mirror the dynamics of queer experience, marked by negotiation, transition and resilience. Water thus ceases to be a mere metaphor and takes the lead, running through and connecting the works.

Rather than offering answers, the exhibition creates the conditions for feeling, experiencing and unlearning.
