Location

Drawing Room Centro de Arte Moderna Gulbenkian
As part of International Museum Day, the public has the opportunity to visit the exhibition with curator Leonor Nazaré.

Experimental practice in redefining drawing is the central axis of the work of Diogo Pimentão (Lisbon, 1973).

Using mainly paper and graphite, sometimes in combination with cement, acrylic plaster or wood, and also creating video and performance, the artist’s works challenge the traditional limits of the discipline.

The artist’s work reflects the moment of tension in which something is about to transform.

In “Transient Force of Things”, the Drawing Room hosts works that result, in part, from performative actions carried out by Diogo Pimentão in collaboration with the French dancer and choreographer Emmanuel Eggermont.
