Designing paradise: Tour to the Gulbenkian Garden

Is a garden a work of art, or a work of nature? How do we design something that, like a living being, must follow the laws of life itself? What do we wish to create when we design a garden?

Conceived in close dialogue with the Foundation’s buildings, the garden reflects the landscapes of Portugal and embodies a distinctly Portuguese vision of paradise.

In the event of adverse weather conditions, the activity will take place indoors. Confirmation will be given up to two days before the scheduled date.
