This tour offers an intercultural journey through the Collection, based on a selection of artworks, encouraging a sense of discovery and cross-reading perspectives.

Calouste Gulbenkian was born near Istanbul, studied in France and England, and spent the last years of his life in Lisbon. An engineer, diplomat, businessman and collector, he brought together throughout his life pieces from both East and West, spanning from Antiquity to the early 20th century.

His collection allows us to move across cultures and times, build bridges between them, and raise questions that still resonate today.
