How do we see, and what do we really see? Do looking and seeing mean exactly the same thing? Are there gazes that don't involve thought? How do we read a work of art?
Based on a selection of works from the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum, this tour focuses on observation and perception, inviting students to discuss, observe, make decisions, and choose perspectives and points of view when reading works of art, based on their universe of references and the information they acquire throughout the visit.
