Ladies and gentlemen, the Gulbenkian Orchestra! Designed to spark curiosity and foster a love of music, the orchestra’s school concerts offer a fun and engaging way to learn.

In this illustrated concert for schools, this programme highlights the profound relationship between musical creation and nature’s inspiration for composers. Guided by the orchestra, we journey from Ester Mägi’s contemporary vision of the sea to Mendelssohn’s enchantment with Fingal’s Cave in the nineteenth century, also including Dvořák’s work In Nature.

And now—make way for the conductor!
