Founded in 1957, the FAP – Portuguese Air Force Band is, among its peer military wind groups, the youngest of the Military Bands.

In this concert commemorating the Great War, the FAP Band presents a repertoire allusive to this event, with pieces composed at that time, marches composed specifically for the countries that in some way participated in the war, original works purposely composed for the events and in homage to the soldiers and heroes that fought in the Great War as well as pieces associated with the defining themes and films, all by great composers.
